Thank you for attending the Freedom Car show! We'll see you again next year!

Annual Freedom Car Show

Haddad Riverfront Park, 600 Kanawha Boulevard, Charleston, WV

Welcome to the Freedom Car Show where innovation meets accessibility!

Experience a showcase like no other, where the world of automobiles is redefined through the lens of accessibility. All car, truck, and bike enthusiasts are welcome! If it’s unique or unusual, we want to see it.

At the Freedom Car Show, you’ll discover a remarkable collection of vehicles thoughtfully designed and adapted to meet the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities. From modified controls and specialized seating to state of the art assistive technologies, every car on display embodies the spirit of empowerment and independence.

But this exhibition is more than just a display of vehicles it’s a celebration of the remarkable ingenuity and creativity of engineers, designers, and innovators who have dedicated themselves to making the joy of driving accessible to all.

As you explore the show, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with exhibitors who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. Learn about the latest advancements in adaptive driving technology, discover resources for vehicle modifications, and connect with organizations committed to promoting accessibility in the automotive industry.

Whether you’re a car enthusiast, a person with a disability, or simply someone who believes in the power of independent living, we invite you to join us on this journey of discovery and empowerment. Together, let’s celebrate the freedom and independence that come from finding the perfect ride.

Thank you for being part of the Freedom Car Show where everyone has the opportunity to experience the thrill of the open road.

Who are we and why a car show?

About the Freedom Car Show & Its Mission

The WV Independence Network (WIN) is a coalition of Centers for Independent Living dedicated to providing services, resources, and advocacy that empower individuals with disabilities to live life to the fullest. Our mission is simple yet powerful : maximize independence and community participation for all.

Why We’re Here
Every dollar raised from the Freedom Car Show goes directly to the Community Living Services Program (CLSP), managed by WIN. This vital statewide program helps economically eligible West Virginians with disabilities by funding:
✔ Assistive devices
✔ Durable medical equipment
✔ Home modifications & wheelchair ramps
✔ Vehicle adaptations for accessible transportation

Through CLSP, individuals can remain in their homes, return to their communities, and live with dignity and independence.

Our Goal
The Freedom Car Show isn’t just an event it’s a movement to raise funds and awareness. We want everyone to understand the life changing work that Centers for Independent Living do to make West Virginia a better place to live, work, and play for people with disabilities. Because for those we serve, living independently is true freedom.

Thank You
A heartfelt thank-you to our sponsors, participants, and patrons for helping us turn this vision into reality. Together, we are driving independence forward.

Sponsors for our 2026 Freedom Car Show

Viking Bags

We are at the forefront of American innovation in motorcycle parts & luggage. And we're proud of it. Our desire was to create something that was just as beautiful as it was useful. Thus began the journey of a thousand miles. One pile of carefully chosen leather and one extensively thought-out design at a time.
