Youth Committee

The SILC Youth Committee was established to help increase and maintain youth representation and involvement on the SILC board.

• Reach out to entities that work with youth with disabilities for assistance in recruiting youth with disabilities to serve on the Council.
• Develop ideas to recruit youth with disabilities and post on social media.
• Develop recruiting information to share with Cl Ls, schools, and home schoolers.
• Conduct outreach activities and events to educate and recruit youth with disabilities to serve on the SILC.
• Submit, and encourage youth to submit, articles for the SI LC newsletter.
